Disney Genie: A complimentary service that helps you create the BEST Disney day! You’re able to prioritize meeting characters, riding specific rides, and Disney Genie will alert you when it’s the best time to make dining reservations or mobile orders.
Disney Genie+: In addition to all the amazing features of Disney Genie, Disney Genie+ gives you even more convenience and flexibility to enjoy your day. Disney Genie+ is an additional fee per person per day depending on the location (Walt Disney World and Disneyland). By purchasing Disney Genie you’re able to make Lightning Lane Attractions, think of Lightning Lanes as the new “fastpass” system.
How much does Disney Genie & Disney Genie+ cost?
Disney Genie is a complimentary service offered in both Walt Disney World, and Disneyland. However, in Walt Disney World, Disney Genie+ is an additional $15/day/ticketed guest (plus tax), in Disneyland, Disney Genie+ is $20/day/ticketed guest (plus tax)
Who needs to purchase Disney Genie+?
If you are choosing to purchase Disney Genie+, anyone over the age of 2 (who has a valid park admission) will need to purchase this service. This service is 100% optional, and not required. However, in order for everyone in your group to utilize the Lightning Lanes, or Individual Lightning Lanes, everyone in your group will need to purchase Disney Genie+.
